The fastening element is divided (partition line 23) along the axis of the sleeve (20) which fits in a bore of the wheel hub, into two parts which are connected together by a film hinge on the side of the flange (22) opposite the sleeve so that they can fold out over the film hinge. The two parts in this position extend along the axis of the sleeve on opposite sides away from the film hinge. The flange has a screw (28) extending across the axis of the sleeve and for tightening up against the flange to secure the shaft inserted in the bore of the flange when the fastening element is folded up.
