摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a configuration for setting a light shielding period in carrying out an all pixel reading out system to reduce cost. SOLUTION: A diaphragm 35 is controlled by a diaphragm control circuit 39 so that the brightness of a picture image become a predetermined value, and this diaphragm 35 is completely closed to set a light shielding period so as to form a static picture by an all pixel reading out system by utilizing this light shielding period. While, as for a dynamic picture, a picture image signal is formed by a pixel mixing reading out system a photographing element is output. That is, in a static picture, a signal of odd number line is read out in the light shielding period by utilizing the period set by the diaphragm 35 for all pixels obtained by a CCD 12 due to one time exposure within a period of 1/60 seconds, and a signal of even number line is read out in the next period. After that, pixels are mixed in a mixing circuit 26 based on these line signals to form a field signal so that high quality static picture is formed.
