PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive electromagnetic wave-absorbing material capable of contributing to the protection of environments and the saving of resources by impregnating or coating a molded product comprising waste paper- disintegrated pulp with a specific electromagnetic wave-absorbing coating material. SOLUTION: This material for absorbing electromagnetic waves is obtained by molding waste paper-disintegrated pulp and subsequently impregnating or coating the molded product with an electromagnetic wave-absorbing coating material. The electromagnetic wave-absorbing coating material is prepared by properly cutting at least one conductive material among cathode plates, copper foils and carbon assembled in use batteries and waste materials generated in a process for producing lithium ion secondary batteries, peralloy, a metal consisting mainly of iron, or one magnetic substance among the coating components of waste magnetic tapes, waste pre-paid curds, and non-volatile components of waste magnetic coating materials, and subsequently grinding and mixing the cut products with an organic solvent and a binder.
|
