摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary folding device which easily achieves the adjustment of a minimum clearance between folding rollers and energizing force in a short time. SOLUTION: Each of folding rollers 16, 18 is mounted on the one ends of roller supporting arms 20, 22, and link arms 48, 50 are connected slidably and turnably on the other ends. An extension member having a screw rod 72 is connected to the other ends of the link arms 48, 50 and the width of the clearance 17 between the rollers 16, 18 is easily adjusted. An expansion bag 36 is provided between the other ends of the supporting arms 20, 22 to apply a predetermined pressure to a printed material passing the clearance 17 between the rollers. The control of the extension member and the expansion bag 36 brings the quick adjustment in accordance with the thickness of the printed material to be folded and the quick removal of the clogged printed material at the occurrence of clogging by widening the clearance 17 between the rollers 16, 18 by contracting the expansion bag 36 with the pressure release. The expansion bag 36 is then expanded at a predetermined pressure so as to return the clearance 17 between the rollers 16, 18 to the predetermined width, thereby quickly adjusting a predetermined load.
