PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst for producing olefin polymer capable of producing an olefin polymer having a high stereoregularity and a high melt fluidity. SOLUTION: This catalyst for producing olefin polymer comprises a solid catalyst component comprising titanium, magnesium and an electron donative compound, an organoaluminum compound and an organosilicon compound represented by the general formula [R<1> to R<3> denote each hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group; R<4> and R<5> denote each a hydrocarbon group; R<6> and R<7> denote each a 1-20C alkyl group; (m) is an integer of >=2; (n) is an integer of >=1].
