PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the sending out of air after air conditioning without providing an air intake port with any bad affection by a method wherein air is sucked upward through an inlet provided at a central part and the air is treated by a heat exchanging element before discharging the same downward to send the air out of an air discharging duct, provided on an outer peripheral rim, into a room. SOLUTION: A cooling and heating device, arranged on a ceiling, heats/cools air, sucked through an air intake port grille 14, while an air discharging duct 28, on which pivoted louvers 30 are arranged, is formed on the peripheral rim part of a frame 26 provided on the bottom unit thereof. An air filter 32 and an intake grille 14 are attached to the central opening of the frame 26 through engagement while indoor air is sucked by the operation of a centrifugal fan 34, arranged above the central opening, through the intake grille 14 and the air filter 32. Thereafter, the air is dispersed toward the outside of the direction of a diameter to pass a heat exchanging element 36, then, the air after heat exchange is sent downward by an air channel structural body 38 and is sent into a room through the air discharging duct 28. |
