PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opener with which a customer can easily open a plastic bag and which is inexpensive and thus easily providable at a supermarket, etc. SOLUTION: This opener 1 is made of stainless steel and formed in a U shape. Top and bottom holding parts 1a, 1b are appropriately separated, being urged in an opposite direction constantly. Adhesive layers 2a, 2b are provided on the side of each contact face with a plastic bag 3 of the top and bottom holding parts 1a, 1b. Polyisobutylene adhesive agent is used for the adhesive layers 2a, 2b.
