<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut off a driving torque with peak characteristics using a simple and low-cost construction. SOLUTION: A power transmission device is equipped with a torque limiter system 37. The torque limiter system 37 has a hollow shaft arranged in a power transmission system of a front-wheel side, an output shaft 85 which runs through the hollow shaft 77, a clutch 115 arranged between the hollow shaft 77 and the output shaft 85, and a spring 117 which pre-loads the clutch 115. When a transmission torque which is applied between the hollow shaft 77 and the output shaft 85 exceeds an appointed value, a linkage of the clutch 115 is released resisting the pre-load force of the spring 115, and the driving force is cut off.</p> |
