The invention enables the production of a highly constant and efficient radiometer or vane radiometer with the purpose of reproducing production conditions. Substantial improvements in relation to existing embodiments are obtained by reducing the effective absorption capacity for infrared radiation of the warmer surface and/or by arranging several boundary surfaces between the cooler and the warmer surfaces. The boundary surfaces can be advantageously configured as radiation shields enabling the incident light radiation to pass through.
