Torsional oscillation absorber for IC engine

The torsional oscillation absorber is for a vehicle IC engine. It consists of an engine side drive part; a gear-side output part which rotate on the same pivot axle and have, between them, at least one set of spiral springs (5) forming a torsional spring arrangement. The springs (5) are positioned in windows in an axle disc (7) enclosed by a housing (1) filled with lubricant and/or absorbent. The ends of the springs (5) lead into spring washers (14) the outer shape of which matches the housing (1) inner shape (17) to form displacement compartments (15).
