The pretensioned and positioned blades are placed on an assembly template (8) and the base disk (2) is then placed on the blades so the rivet straps pass through the holes on the disk to allow the blades to be riveted thus onto the base disk. Then once the joined assembly (7) has been removed from the template, a cover disk (3) is lined up and placed on the far side of the blades with straps through disk holes for the second riveting job. The first rivet stage is accomplished in a transfer system (9) having rotating work supports (22) and then transferred to a second system (10) with supports (23) for the second riveting stage. Templates in the first system are traveled by a second template (11) as coupled through a feeder (12) to a blade magazine (13). Feeders (15) bring in the base disk and a first riveting press (16) is supplemented by a second riveting press (18) on the second transfer system. The two systems are linked by a transfer link (14).
