The back-rolling process involved producing undercuts by pack rolling without causing alterations in mass in the regions not being machined due to plastic material being displaced. The individual tooth flanks for undercutting and part surfaces with and without pullout locking function are pre-formed. And during undercutting, plasticized material from the regions with the locking function is forced out and into part surfaces made as recesses without locking function. The tooth surfaces (B-D) show the areas (10) formed by plasticized material displacement.
