Overflow channel have intake slots and windows in front of them, for fresh air intake for scavenging. Regulation is via membrane valves (2, 3) above the windows. Mixture adaptation regulation is via resonance under pressure of the exhaust system (8, 18) via the pressure regulator of the mechanical injection system. Mixture formation is by mechanically or electronically controlled low-pressure injection into the crankcase. Regulation may be dependent upon e.g. CO levels.
