The method involves using a system that uses a cable, infrared or other link to join the strain gauges to a weight indicator. The procedure provides for adjustment of the angles applied to a load carrier (1), which comprises at least two strain gauges (2). The load carrier is connected to a connection box (3) and a weight indicator (4). Associated with each sensor there is at least one indicating device (6) showing the request to place the calibration load on the region of the sensor, and to take note of the measurement on the electronic box. At each measurement of angle, there is a device (7) for taking account of this measurement by the electronic box. The indicator devices are placed in the operating region of the sensor. They may be operated by a separate device and may be situated between the indicators and pushbuttons of the standard weight indicator.
