PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding sheet material good in molding processability and especially suitable as a food container capable of being used in both of an oven and a microwave oven. SOLUTION: A molding sheet material comprises a laminate of a 4- methylpentene-1 polymer sheet of which the amorphous part measured based on X-ray diffraction intensity is 65 wt.% or more and paper and is produced by extruding the 4-methylpentene-1 polymer to the gap between a cooled metal roll and paper in a molten state and quenching the same while holding the metal roll to 30 deg.C or lower.
