<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an electric driving device, reduce its weight, and reduce man-hour of maintenance operation by integrally forming, an end piece that is mounted to the output side end part of a motor housing to the accommodation gear case of a transfer mechanism for transferring the output torque of an electric motor to an axle between the electric motor and the axle. SOLUTION: A conduction mechanism 9 is constituted of differential mechanisms 13L and 13R for reducing the rotation of electric motors 8L and 8R. The electric motors 8L and 8R are constituted of a DC motor with a stator 8b, a rotor 8c, and a brush 8d in a motor housing 8a. An end piece 8e that is mounted to the output side opening end part of the motor housing 8a is integrally formed at left and right side walls 10c and 10d of a gear case 10, thus eliminating the need for a flange and a pedestal and hence miniaturizing an electric driving device 7 and reducing its weight. The electric motors 8L and 8R and a solenoid 14e are controlled by a controller 15, and the controller 15 performs departure assistance control when a front wheel slips on departure on a slippery road surface and performs turning assistance control when it turns.</p> |
