PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information equipment which has the music composing function and is low in power consumption. SOLUTION: A portable information equipment is constituted by combining a music data generating device consisting of an input means 11 for inputting data of music, a storage device (RAM) 12 for storing the inputted data, a storage device (ROM)13 stored previously with a note length allocation table containing different-reference series including one system having the lengths of other notes calculated on the basis of the length of one note and a tempo table corresponding to the series having the tempo of music calculated, an arithmetic unit 14 which performs operation on the basis of the data in the RAM 12 and ROM 13, and a sound file 15 containing the arithmetic results, and a portable information equipment main body consisting of a sound file storage memory storing the contents of the sound file 15, a program counter which generates an interval in the sound file, a note length holding circuit which holds the length of a note, and a clock signal generator which sends a clock signal to a speaker outputting the music and those circuits. |
