发明名称 METHOD AND FACILITY FOR ARC MELTING COLD IRON SOURCE
摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc melting facility of cold iron source having extremely high efficiency unachievable through a conventional melting facility for preheating scrap using exhaust gas in which a unit for carrying/feeding cold iron source to a melting chamber is not required and next charge of coil iron source can be preheated. SOLUTION: The arc melting facility comprises a melting furnace, a preheating shaft 2 coupled directly with upper part on one side thereof, an arc electrode 6 for melting scrap in the melting furnace, a bucket for feeding scrap to the preheating shaft 2 while keeping such a state as the scrap exists continuously to the melting furnace and the preheating shaft 2, a steel delivery section 3 projecting from the melting furnace and having a steel delivery port, and means for inclining the melting furnace to the steel delivery section 3 side. The steel delivery section 3 is set perpendicularly to the direction for feeding scrap to the melting furnace and the part thereof provided with the preheating shaft 2 is spaced apart from the part provided with the steel delivery section 3 by a distance (a) so that the scrap does not flow out to the steel delivery port side.</p>
