<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain concrete blocks capable of providing pavement surface with high abrasion resistance without the need of using any expensive ferronickel slag, by compounding eco-cement with municipal refuse burnt ash or the like as the main stock, Portland cement and aggregate in specified proportions. SOLUTION: The concrete blocks are obtained by vibratory molding of concrete which is prepared by kneading a composition comprising eco-cement, Portland cement and aggregate; wherein the eco-cement is a baked product made from, as the main stock, at least one kind selected from municipal refuse burnt ash and sewage sludge burnt ash and a hydraulic composition comprising a baked product including 10-40 wt.% of at least one kind selected from C11 A7 CaCl2 , C11 A7 CaF2 and C3 A and at least one kind selected from C2 S and C3 S, and gypsum; the amount of the eco-cement to be compounded is such that the Portland cement accounts for <=50 pts.wt. of the eco-cement plus Portland cement; the aggregate to be used is such that the content of coarse aggregate >=2.5 mm in size is 60-70 vol.% and the amount of the aggregate to be compounded is 300-800 pts.wt.; and the conditions for the vibratory molding are, for example, as follows: frequency: 4,500-9,000 rpm and vibrational acceleration: 10-290 g.</p> |
