A cooperative apparatus of a mobile communication system: receives a cooperative MIMO signal from a base station at a location of a downlink subframe; and amplifies the received cooperative MIMO signal and transmits the same to a target terminal at a location of an uplink subframe, thereby improving transmission capacity and a signal quality of a cell.
