<p>A passenger conveyor such as an escalator and a moving side walk, wherein a monitoring camera for photographing portions around the passenger conveyor is provided to call attention to incorrect riding such as leaning out over handrails, and images on the camera are used for image recording for finding a cause at the time of abnormality, safe start-up and stop through detection of absence of passengers and attention calling to the use of the passenger conveyor as a staircase during stop.</p> |
