A device for enhancing the emptying of the metering chamber (10) of a powdered material dispenser comprising a discharge channel (20) extending through said metering chamber (10), and means for generating an air flow so that when the dispenser is operated, the air flow enters the discharge channel (20) and empties the metering chamber (10). The device comprises flow means (100) for controlling the air flow so that it completely empties out the metering chamber (10), said flow means (100) being arranged upstream in the discharge channel (20) from the metering chamber (10) in the flowing direction of said air flow.
