Provided is a headlight guard structure for a motorcycle that has minimized lengths of a left-right extending portion and side extending portions of the headlight guard, steering mass without an excessive increase, and improved appearance and design. The headlight guard structure for a motorcycle includes a pair of headlight side covers 3 provided on right and left sides of a headlight 1. A headlight guard 2 has a left-right extending portion 2a extending in a left-to-right direction at the front bottom of the headlight 1 and a pair of right and left side extending portions 2b extending from the left-right extending portion 2a to side surfaces of the headlight 1. End portions of the side extending portions 2b are inserted in a pair of right and left opening parts 3 a provided in the headlight side covers 3, and vehicle body fitted portions of the headlight guard 2 are arranged between the headlight side covers 3 and the headlight 1.
