A protective glove offers an essentially greater mechanical protection, especially against cuts, and assures better grasp properties in the sense of lower energy consumption of the hand and conservation of the grasp feeling in comparison with the known protective gloves, acting in the same time as an insulator against liquids and electric current. The glove according to the invention is carried out in a multilayer set-up. A mechanically protective layer consists of a web of polyolefine fibres, preferentially polypropylene and/or aramide (Kevlar) ones, running at an angle of 45 degrees to the direction of fingers. On one side of the protective layer there is a binding and insulating layer made of silicones and/or polyurethanes, and on the other side, a protective layer made of cotton or wool, preferentially flannel, intended to be in direct contact with the skin. A layer made of leather preferentially, carried out on the exterior side on the palm and the palm-side of the fingers is intended to assure the friction between the glove and the object to be held which may be of an arbitrary material, also a wet or greasy one.
|
