PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set that is used in a public place without disturbing near-by persons and without affecting operations of other devices and to provide a radio telephone system. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set controller 14 that stops transmission of portable telephone sets (including PHS terminals) 15 and a radio wave shield 17 that shield voice and a radio wave from external parts to attain transmission of the portable telephone sets are provided in a public place, and a portable telephone repeater 16 is provided in the radio wave shield 17 to limit the usual speech range of the portable telephone set within the radio wave shield 17 in which the portable telephone repeater 16 is installed. Thus, the portable telephone set is used even in a public place without troubling near-by persons and without affecting other radio devices. |
