PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a sufficient dehumidification effect with low power consumption by providing coolers and condensers in two systems while arranging alternately and controlling two systems separately depending on the humidity in a room where a dehumidifier is installed. SOLUTION: Coolers 10, 13 and condensers 11, 12 form refrigeration cycles individually for systems A, B and coupled, through piping, with compressors 14, 15 dedicated for the systems A, B. Intake air passes sequentially through the condenser 12 for system B, the cooler 13 for system A, the cooler 10 for system B, and the condenser 11 for system A. It may also flow reversely. Based on information from temperature and humidity sensors 7, 8, the compressor 15 of system B is operated under an environment where dehumidification is difficult because the humidity is lower than a set level or at the time of low temperature. At the time at high temperature high humidity where dehumidification is easy, the compressor 15 of system B is turned off and only the compressor 15 of system A is operated. |
