<p>A boring protector is applied to protect the operator of the boring machine and the room where this activity is taking place. The invention has a form of an accordion-like, axially compressible tube which is applied to the housing of the boring machine and compressed or released depending on the movement of the boring machine relatively to the groundwork. The compressibility of the tube is protected by the tightness obtained by the contact with the boring groundwork. Thus, the accumulation of drilled grains and dust within the protector is assured, and the operator of the boring machine and the room where the boring is taking place are protected.</p> |
