A material of filter elements for filtering devices operating in wet environment particularly for filtering electroplating bath, characterised by that it is composed of several layers of polypropylene fibre fleece with linear mass 1.7 - 4.4 dtex, in which a uniform middle layer is created through stitching, and on the outer sides a layer of reticulated polypropylene is created by means of pressure and heat treatment with pressure 0.5 - 1.5 mPa and temperature 150 -165 degrees C, total mass per unit area 800 - 1100 g/m2> and thickness 3.5 - 5.0 mm.
