<p>PURPOSE:To prepare efficiently a lithographic ink with excellent luster and setting characteristics by mixing a varnish, a solvent, an auxiliary, etc., in a specified high-concn. flushed color base prepd. in advance. CONSTITUTION:A high-concn. flushed color base contg. a pigment with a high concn. in a flushing varnish contg. a synthetic resin with an n-heptane tolerance of 50cc/g or larger and a mol.wt. of 10,000 to 300,000 (e.g. rosin-polyhydric alchohol-modified novolak-resol type phenol resin) is prepd. in advance and mixed with a varnish, a solvent, an auxiliary, etc., to prepare a lithographic ink. The obtd. ink contains approximately 1.5 times as much pigment as that contained in the conventional ones and can improve both setting characteristics and luster compared with the conventional products.</p> |
