PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject pellets having improved mold release characteristics in a wide range of mold temperature without its variability, and excellent in plasticizing characteristics in a wide range of cylinder temperatures, by adding a lubricant to a molten polymer in a polymerization process. SOLUTION: In a melt polymerization process for (A) a polyamide, at a stage in which a polycondensation is advanced and the water content in the component A reaches <=10 wt.%, (B) 0.01-1 pt.wt. of a melt of a higher fatty acid metal salt, (C) 0.01-1 pt.wt. of a melt of an esterified substance of a higher fatty acid and a higher fatty acid amide and (D) 0.01-1 pt.wt. of a melt of a higher fatty acid amide are added and dispersed into 100 pts.wt. of the molten component A to give pellets. Then (E) a higher fatty acid compound is stuck to the surface of the pellets. Preferably, a mixture of the component B, the component C and the component D is heated and melted at a temperature higher than or equal to the melting point of the mixture to give a melt and the melt is poured into the component A at the stage. |
