PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work wagon having a boom capable of accurately monitoring a safety limit even when a machine platform or a turntable is inclined. SOLUTION: A fluctuating boom angle detecting means 13 is provided for detecting the fluctuating amount (fluctuation against the ground)Δθof a boom hoisting angle following the inclination of a machine platform, the detecting signalΔθis inputted to an arithmetic processing unit 10 and, in the comparing means 12 of the arithmetic processing unit, the boom hoisting angle of an elongated/contracted boom against the machine is calculated based on a hoisting angleθg against the ground from a ground hoisting angle detector 7 and the fluctuation boom hoisting detecting means 13, and a moment arm is calculated by using a boom hoisting angle against the machine.
