摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption by controlling a speed change mechanism so as to attain a target vehicle speed under the condition of fixing the rotating speed of a drive source to a prescribed target rotating speed, and controlling the drive source so as to set the difference between the rotating speed of the drive source and the target rotating speed to be a fixed rotating speed or less. SOLUTION: In economy mode shift controlling setting the economical speed of an engine to be the target rotating speed Net, a target throttle opening TVOo is decided by substituting the detected value of the present throttle opening (S17). Then it is judged whether the absolute value of difference between the fixed engine speed Net and the present actual engine speed Ne is lower than a previously set judging speed Nes or not (S18). When deviation quantity of the actual engine speed Ne to the fixed speed Net is larger than the judging speed Nes (S18) No, the throttle opening is corrected (S20-S22). Thus, the difference between the engine speed Ne and the target speed Net can be made within a fixed value, and hence fuel consumption is improved.
