PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved hybrid catheter guiding wire having torque and deflection characteristics. SOLUTION: A hybrid catheter guiding wire 200 contains a slender solid main body having the tapering distant end 226 by arranging a tubular section 216 in which a catheter can be screwed to be guided to a target position in a vessel structure path of the human body. The direction and a bending degree are controlled by maintaining the rotational directional torque generating capacity while improving the lateral directional flexibility by forming a cut line 230 in a position leaving an interval along at least a part of the tubular section 216 by sawing, a laser cut or etching.
