<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate orthodontic work such as mounting a lingual straight arch wire to a main slot by providing a bracket to fit to a surface on the side of a tongue of each tooth to fix to a wire. SOLUTION: The bracket 28 forms a main slot 30 for receiving the lingual straight arch wire(LSW) 27 to a center 29 to ligature in a horizontal direction and is provided with a bracket main body 31 opening it toward the surface 12 on the tongue side of a tooth. In addition, the main body 31 is provided with a leg part 32 and a large space is formed between its tip and a pad 13. Thus, when the bracket 28 is fitted to a front tooth at an upper jaw, a byte plane(BP) opposed to a front tooth at a lower jaw is formed on the lower surface of the arm part 33 of the main body 31, the position of BP becomes deep and even at the time of starting orthodontics, the tip of the front tooth at the lower jaw does not comes into conflict with BP of the main body 31 fitted to the front tooth at the upper jaw.</p> |
