PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine-equipped bicycle which is structured compactly with the width suppressed and which will never contaminate clothes. SOLUTION: A rear wheel 21 is formed from a disc wheel in which a spoke part is positioned in eccentricity to one side, and a shell 22 covering the spoke part from the opposite side about the direction across the bicycle width is secured to the body frame 3. An engine, air cleaner, muffler, and fuel tank are installed between the spoke part and shell 22 and around the hub of the rear wheel 21 in such an arrangement as laid in the circumferential direction of the rear wheel 21. The crank shaft and output shaft of the engine are installed in such an arrangement that the axis is directed across the width, and the output shaft is coupled with the hub through a transmission device. |
