发明名称 BAR CODE CLASSIFIER
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable mail to be read without the necessity of arranging mail to make bar code printing positions coincide in advance by correcting the inside, outside, and direction of a note automatically according to the discrimination results of the note and discharging it. SOLUTION: Notes such as mail are supplied from a supply part 11 and transported. As regards of the transported mail P, the presence/absence of a bar code on the mail is judged by a bar code reading part A12. When it is judged that a bar code is printed, the mail is partitioned into corresponding mail classification ports 17-19 according to reading results. When no bar code was printed on mail, postal codes, addresses, and others are read by a character reading part 13. This information is converted into a bar code and printed as an intra-office bar code on a given position on the mail by a printing part 15. The bar code is read by a reading part 16. The mail is partitioned into mail partitioning ports for every printed bar code. In this way, there is no need to arrange mail.
