FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine is intended for trenchless laying of various service lines. Percussive-action machine has body with striker, intermediate member which on its end carries head-piece adapted for limited angular displacement. First pair of surfaces of intermediate member and head-piece with one of these surfaces namely spherical is embraced, also provided is second pair of surfaces created by their ends. Head-piece is secured on intermediate member with possibility of self-positioning. For this purpose, embracing surface of their first pair is made cylindrical and at least one of surfaces of second pair according to one version has curvature with its center displaced along machine axis relative to center of spherical surface, and according to second version one of surfaces of second pair is flat. Usable in function of intermediate member is mandrel installed for limited axial displacement inside body, or body itself. In this case spherical surface and it mating cylindrical surface are made on intermediate member or head-piece. Surfaces having their center of curvature displaced along machine axis relative to center of curvature of spherical surface are made in the form of end-faces, bottom of recesses, etc. This allows for arrangement of different configurations of machines for various purpose and conditions of application. Aforesaid embodiment of machine allows for creation simple and reliable percussive-action machine for driving rectilinear bore-holes in ground, it can also be used for correction of defective bore-holes, cleaning of pipes, their calibration as well for crushing.
