The system (20) comprises a communication unit (22) including a protocol unit (24) linked to a fixed internet connection (26), a control unit (28) linked to the protocol unit, and a memory (30) linked to the control unit. The memory is organized into posters, each of which comprises a number of fields, at least one of which comprising a source address field, a target address field and a channel name field, the channel name being the name given to the coupling between the source and target. Also present within the system is a monitoring unit (32) connected to the internet and to the users computer (34) for continuous monitoring of the active window (i.e. the window on the computer in which the user is working) and the source address showing in this window. A further part of the system is a search engine (36) linked to the fixed internet connection, for systematically searching objects on the internet and comparing them with the criteria for obtaining associations between objects. These associations are transferred to the communication unit for updating its memory. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for (a) a method for achieving content-associated communication using this internet system. |
