A locking fixture joins two vehicular components e.g. a hinged truck side-panel to a fixed frame. The fixture consists of a U-shaped bracket (1) which is bolted to a fixed part of the vehicle, and incorporating two approximately L-shaped slots (11). The second part of the fixture (2) incorporates a rubber tensioning strap (3), is bolted to the e.g. hinged vehicle panel, and has a hinge (4) and locking lever (5) with projecting studs (7,8). The studs interlock with the L-shaped slots.
