PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent developer from being attracted from a developing roller to a photoreceptor at the time of the interruption of a power source by providing an insulated interrupting member inserted between an image carrier and a developer supplying means in the interruption of the power source. SOLUTION: A sealing member 22 is molded of a polyurethane sheet material having an insulating property, and is attached to a supporting member 24 formed into an L-shape. The supporting member 24 is fixed at the lower end part of an arm 26 through a fixture 25, and the upper end part of the arm 26 is connected to a solenoid 27. Also, a spring material 28 pressing the fixture 25 downward (the direction of an arrow B) is connected to the fixture 25. The solenoid 27 is demagnetized at the time of the interruption of the power source, and the sealing material 22 is pulled downward by the pressing force of the spring material 28, and is inserted between a photoreceptive drum l and a developing sleeve 16. Thus, the photoreceptive drum 1 is idly rotated by inertia at the time of the interruption of the power source, and is not brought into contact with the developing sleeve 16 though a surface part in an already electrified state is moved to the side of the developing sleeve 16 and is made to be opposed to it. |
