METHOD FOR DIRECT METAL FABRICATION OF METALLIC PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for direct metal fabrication of metallic parts attained by a continuous thermal process in which a thin carbon film retaining the structural integrality of parts from the partial reduction of 'raw' parts is left behind. SOLUTION: The remaining carbon calalyzes eutectic reducing elements and allows them to diffuse over the whole body of the parts to form an organometallic bond bonded with a homogenized metallic alloy. By supersolidus liq. phase sintering(SLPS), the alloy is densified to obtain final parts of the quality of a master material. For printing an image, a DMF(direct metal fabrication) process may be used in magnet graphic printing.
