<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deoxidation composition which does not cause a trouble or the like occurred in a preparation process when water is used, by preparing it with a composition containing at least ascorbic acid or its salt, an alkali metal compound, an iron compound, and sodium metasilicate hydrate. SOLUTION: A deoxidation composition mainly used for food preservation is a composition which contains at least ascorbic acid or its salt ((a) component), an alkali metal compound ((b) component), an iron compound ((c) component), and sodium metasilicate hydrate ((d) component), and as required, contains active carbon ((e) component). The mixing ratios of the (b), (c), and (d) components are set to be 20-200 pts.wt., 1-150 pts.wt., and 5-200 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the (a) component, respectively, and, 5-200 pts.wt. of the (e) component may be contained based on 100 pts.wt. of the (a) component. As ascorbic acid or its salt, L-ascorbic acid, its salt, or the like is exemplified, and as the salt, sodium salt or the like is exemplified.</p> |
