PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-component image forming device and a one-component image forming method by which fogging and image irregularity are not caused extending over a long term, an image defect such as a strip because of toner attached and fixed to an electrifying member is prevented from occurring and stable image density is obtained and to provide a developer layer regulation member used for it. SOLUTION: The one-component image forming device is provided with a latent image holding body 1 holding an electrostatic latent image, a developer carrier 3 and the developer layer regulation member 5 supplying developer to the carrier 3, forming the thin layer of the developer and imparting electric charge. Besides, it is constituted so that a visible image is formed by feeding the thin layer of the developer formed on the carrier 3 to the holding body 1 holding the electrostatic latent image and attaching the developer to the electrostatic latent image. Then, the regulation member 5 is provided with at least two resin layers being the outermost layer consisting of resin whose surface energy is <=30 dyn/cm and the resin covering layer having a higher hardness than that of the outermost layer. It is preferable that the non-magnetic toner is used as the developer in the case of this image forming device. |
