PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink compsn. which is used in an ink jet printing process and has improved storage stability, viscosity stability against the change in pH and temp., and capability of preventing blurr between colors. SOLUTION: This compsn. contains (a) water, (b) a colorant, and (c) a substance of the formula: [(F3 C(F2 C)n CH=CHCH2 OCH(OH)CH2 )2 NCH2 COO<-> ][X<+> ] (wherein, X<+> is a cation; and (n) is an integer of about 3 to about 20). For example, when the ink compsn. contains 0.01 wt.% water, 15-75 wt.% imidazole, and 1-60 wt.% Lodyne P-502, it is homogeneous during centrifugal sedimentation at 2, 400 rpm for 30 min with a centrifugal separator having an 8-feet arm. |
