PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass fiber chopped strand mat, capable of cooling the outer and inner portions of the glass fiber layer in a short time without largely increasing the cost of a production installation and thereby capable of largely enhancing productivity, even when a mat having a large weight is produced. SOLUTION: A high pressure air-blowing device 18 is attached above a place between water-cooling press rollers 15, 16, and an outer air-introducing device (dust fan) 19 is further attached above a place between the water-cooling press roller 16 and a winding machine 17. Thereby, high pressure air and introduced outer air can be blown on the surface of glass fiber layer G by use of the above devices. |
