PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-rigid coaxial cable capable of preventing the extrusion of an insulator at a terminated part and the generation of cracks of an outer conductor when the cable is passed through a reflow furnace, enhancing terminal working capability, and favorably forming an outer conductor by plating, and to provide the manufacturing method of the semi-rigid coaxial cable. SOLUTION: In a semi-rigid coaxial cable in which a porous insulator 2 is formed in the outer circumference of a central conductor 1, an anchor metal layer 3 is formed in the outer circumference of the insulator 2 by electroless plating, and a good conductive metal layer 4 is formed by electroplating on the outside of the anchor metal layer 3, the porous insulator is made of porous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) whose specific dielectric constant is 1.75<=ε<2.00, and a metal catalyst on which plating is available so that the metal concentration (C) μg/cm<2> exists within the range of 0.8<=C<2.6 is formed in the outer circumference of the porous insulator as the pretreatment necessary for forming the anchor metal layer being formed in the outer circumference of the porous insulator 2. |
