PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the recycle characteristic of the expansion valve of refrigerant used for a refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: A power element part 36' attached to the upper part of an expansion valve main body has an upper cover 36d and a lower cover 36h, and is divided into an upper pressure operating chamber 36b and a lower pressure operating chamber 36c by a diaphragm 36a. A temperature sensing drive rod 101 is formed with a heat transfer rod 103 integral with a large diameter part 105. A stopper part 104 in contact with the lower surface of the diaphragm 36a is a separate member from the temperature sensing drive rod 101 and held in the lower cover 36h. Upon disassembly of the expansion valve, the temperature sensing drive rod 101 is pulled out from the inside of the attaching seat 362 of the power element part 36', and refrigerant remaining in the upper pressure operating chamber 36b is extrated and recovered from the diaphragm side. |
