The refrigerated vehicles 1 have the corresponding eutectic plates 2 and are characterized in that, in a fixed outside location on the vehicle, cold-generation equipment 4 of conventional type is installed in which there are cold-accumulation means defined by a first heat- exchange circuit 11 and a second heat-exchange circuit 12, the two circuits being bathed in a eutectic solution 20 contained in the cold accumulator and multiple heat exchanger 21. The accumulator 21 is connected to a regulator tank 15 by a recirculation pump 14. In addition, it is characterized in that the eutectic plates located on the lorry have closure valves or means 18 for rapid connection/disconnection in order to connect/disconnect said plates so that the operation of cooling the eutectic plates in a minimum period of time is facilitated and the travel of the vehicle 1 is permitted without the need to introduce cold-generation equipment. <IMAGE>
