The unit consists of two telescopically-linked hollow metal panels (14,15), equipped with hooks (17) for fastening the unit to parallel supporting members (12). The outer transverse edges of the outer metal panel have a tongue on one side and a groove on the other for engaging with adjacent units. The tongues have up-turned outer edges, and the grooves are made with corresponding recesses. Both panels have ribbed upper surfaces and holes in their sides for locking pins; they are made from aluminium or an aluminium alloy. The end hooks (17) are equipped with spring-loaded retaining jaws. |
