Device which is coupled to any type of forklift truck, facilitating the movement and distribution of the barrels in the wine cellar or store, and comprises: a) a support structure 1 which can be coupled to a conventional forklift truck; b) an arm 5 which is actuated from a hydraulic cylinder 9, which moves laterally, moving it away or towards a central point coincident with the longitudinal axis of the forklift truck; and c) an automatic clamp 4 located at the end of said arm which incorporates a support structure 15 on which two pairs of claws 17 are mounted, said claws facing each other in pairs, which are brought together and closed in their actuation against the end walls of the barrel, grasping it via the peripheral hoop which exists on both end walls, and an automatic mechanism 22 for locking/unlocking opening of said clamp which acts alternately each time it is deposited on the barrel. <IMAGE>
